I'm slightly annoyed by the occasional spammy message that keeps popping up around here. Is there no way of stopping it?

Unfortunately not really, other than physically deleting it myself. I want to keep certain boards open to forum guests, so that they do not need to register if they just have a simple question to ask, or if they're having trouble accessing their account. Sadly this means leaving a couple of the boards open to pesky spammers.

Some spam messages seem to be able to find their way around the requirement for membership on some message boards anyway. I don't think there is all that much that can be done about it :(
